Heart on Your Palm 2026.

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Barban proudly invites you to the traditional multi-day humanitarian event “Heart on a Palm in Barban”, which once again this year brings together people of good heart with one common goal – to help those who need it most.

All proceeds from the rich raffle and the food and beverage offer are intended for humanitarian purposes for: Mary’s Meals, the association “Naš san njihov osmijeh”, and the beneficiaries of the parish Caritas and missions.

EVENT PROGRAM

WEDNESDAY, June 3, 2026

Location: Courtyard of the Church of St. Nicholas, Barban

• 18:00 – Municipality of Barban Wine Exhibition Opening of the event featuring tastings of premium local wines and socializing with Istrian winemakers.

• 19:30 – Holy Mass A solemn spiritual beginning of the event in the parish church.

• 20:00 – Spiritual Concert An evening of spiritual music in the peaceful ambiance of the St. Nicholas church courtyard.

• 20:30 – Briškula Tournament (Traditional card game)

  • Registration: 20:00 – 20:30

  • Entry Fee: €30 per pair

  • Prizes: Homegrown lamb, suckling pig, Latus cheese, and other valuable rewards.

• 21:00 – “Groversi” & DJ Sosa Live music program and entertainment late into the night.

THURSDAY, June 4, 2026

Location: Barban – Tent in the courtyard of the Church of St. Nicholas (from 20:00)

• 20:00 – Pub Quiz: “How Well Do You Know Istria?” A fun and educational quiz about Istria hosted by Rikard Stojkovski and Vedran Blašković. Background music provided by DJ Dragi.

FRIDAY, June 5, 2026

Location: Barban – Tent in the courtyard of the Church of St. Nicholas (from 20:00)

• 20:00 – Local-Style Fiesta (Fešta po domaću) An evening of Istrian tradition, homemade food, and community spirit with a musical program by MIX BAND and guests.

SATURDAY, June 6, 2026

Location: Tent in the courtyard of the Church of St. Nicholas, Barban

• 17:30 – Children’s Workshops Creative workshops for making floral decorations.

• 20:00 – Kids’ Disco Karaoke Party Music, dancing, and fun for the youngest guests under the tent in the St. Nicholas church courtyard.
