Small Folklore Festival

Folklore is one of the most beautiful artistic expressions of tradition, intertwined with beauty and wonderful emotions.

Every year in June, the Barban Cultural and Artistic Society organizes a “Small Folklore Festival.” Many thanks to the Barban Cultural and Artistic Society for teaching our children true values ​​and in this way passing on the love for our rich tradition and culture.

The beauty of life once lay precisely in socializing, singing, dancing, and togetherness, and that is what folklore offers to our children today.

Nowadays, we have much more material things, but we have less and less socializing, singing, dancing, togetherness, and respect. We strive for material things and only think about how much we don’t have, and we don’t even realize how little we actually need for happiness and how much our ancestors had much less, but were far happier than we are today.
