February 22nd and 23rd 2018 – 8th Petar Stanković Memorial “Barban in the heart”

Memorial to the canonite of Barban Petar Stanković, with the purpose of presenting his personality and versatility with a diverse cultural and artistic program featuring well-known and less known names, such as Istrian historians, professors, artists, writers, and then also poets, musicians, singers and dancers from Barban. The program seeks to remind the people from Barban and introduce all the other guests with the meaning of Peter Stanković’s peculiar activity for Barban and Barban history. The most important goal should be to emphasize the importance of new cultural contents, and this manifestation in that context represents the recognition and preservation of our cultural and historical heritage.
