On Saturday November 24th, starting at 5 PM in the Sports Hall of the Elementary school Jure Filipović in Barban, the jubilee 10th Olive oil festival of the Barban Municipality will be held. This year, a total of 34 olive growers, all from the Barban Municipality, will exhibit and compete on the festival with a total of 47 varieties of olive oil.

The first Olive oil festival was organized back in 2009, when it was noted that the first major olive oil producers began to appear.

Only olive growers from the area of ​​the Barban Municipality are invited to the show, and they bring their olive oils for the analysis and the degustation. Souvenir producers, as well as producers of a variety of usable items of olive wood, are also invited to the festival.
